STAFF JOB DESCRIPTION: CARE ASSISTANT
REPORTS TO: Care Manager
RESPONSIBLE TO: Proprietor
We require 4 motivated and enthusiastic Care assistants to join our team at a Nursing Home in Stafford.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Ideally you will have an NVQ Level 2 in Care, but willingness to undertake this will be consudered.
Attend mandatory training sessions plus other educational training to enhance knowledge.
JOB SUMMARY
You will promote and maintain the highest standard of service for service users and their families at all times, ensuring that individual's rights to dignity, privacy and freedom of choice are always maintained without compromising aspects of safety.*
Care Assistant will support and assist qualified staff in the assessment, planning and implementation of patient care as prescribed by the individual care plans*
Provide practical support and responsive care to residents who require assistance with intimate personal needs such as dressing, bathing and toileting activities, ensuring that such activities comply with procedures and relevant healthcare legislation, ensuring privacy and dignity is maintained throughout.*
Observe and monitor the well being of residents, ensuring that any unusual physical, menta or emotional occurrences are promptly referred to senior staff and nurse incharge and documented as appropriate. Develop and maintain a good professional relationship with residents, colleagues and visitors, responding promptly and courteously to request and enquiries*
You will ensure a high standard of care is maintained at all times.*
You will be polite, courteous and punctual*

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: 12.21 per hour
Expected hours: 11 - 44 per week
Experience:
Nursing home : 2 years (preferred)
Work Location: In person
