Job Summary

We are small independent Deal based care company who is looking for a caring and reliable Care Assistant to join our small team of dedicated support workers, we work in and around the Deal area only, providing care to our clients in their own homes. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience in patient care and a strong dedication to improving the quality of life for our clients. As a Care Assistant, you will play an essential role in supporting clients with daily living activities while ensuring their comfort, dignity, and safety. We are not able to offer sponsorship at this time.

Responsibilities

Support clients with Activities of Daily Living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. Deliver personal care and assistance to individuals with developmental disabilities, Alzheimer's, dementia. Prepare and serve meals, assisting with meal planning based on dietary needs and preferences. Keep living spaces clean, safe, and organized through regular housekeeping. Administer medications Follow personalized care plans to meet each client's unique needs. Offer companionship and emotional support to promote overall well-being. Safely operate equipment, such as hoists, to assist with patient transfers.

Qualifications

Previous experience in caregiving, home health, nursing homes, or long-term care is preferred. Experience supporting individuals with dementia is highly valued. Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team. Physically capable of assisting with hoist lifting and patient transfers. Compassionate, patient, and genuinely motivated to improve the lives of others. Familiarity with care plans, safe medication practices is preferred
