Responsibilities

Assist residents with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming. Support individuals in daily living activities including meal preparation, medication management, and mobility assistance. Implement care plans tailored to the specific needs of each individual, ensuring that their preferences and requirements are met. Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in residents' conditions to the appropriate healthcare professionals. Foster a warm and supportive atmosphere by engaging with residents through conversation and activities. Adhere to health and safety regulations while providing care in both home care settings and care homes. Utilise IT systems for documentation and communication purposes effectively.

Experience

Previous experience in a home care setting is advantageous but not essential. A valid driving licence is necessary to facilitate travel between clients' homes. Proficiency in English is necessary for effective communication with residents and team members. Strong IT skills are beneficial for maintaining records and using digital tools related to care management. Excellent communication skills are vital for building rapport with residents and their families, as well as collaborating with healthcare professionals.
