The Mercy Care Centre provides residential care for older people and for people living with dementia in a purpose-built facility, alongside a development of 18 apartments providing "extra care housing." Rated as 'good' in all areas at our last CQC inspection.
Recruiting for the following roles:
1 x Care Assistant (24 hpw) 52 weeks per year excluding holidays.
Please note: This role will be subject to a suitable DBS check, 2 satisfactory references and the right to work in the UK.
Summary:
As a Care Assistant, you will be essential in providing
compassionate
and
person centred care
to our residents. Reporting to the Senior Care Assistant, your role will involve
assisting with personal care, maintaining care plans, and ensuring a safe environment.
Your core skills in communication and IT will facilitate effective interactions with residents and staff.

We aim for all staff employed in our Care Homes to be required to have undertaken an Enhanced DBS check (together with an Adult Barred list check where applicable) as they may be called on to undertake regulated activity as part of a 'whole home' approach to providing high quality responsive care in accordance with CQC.
