Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to provide high-quality support to individuals within their own homes. The successful candidate will play a vital role in enhancing the well-being and independence of those in their care, ensuring they receive respectful and personalised assistance. Duties

Assist clients with daily activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility, ensuring dignity and respect at all times Support clients with meal preparation and feeding, adhering to individual care plans Help with medication management in accordance with prescribed instructions Maintain accurate records of care provided, including any changes in health or behaviour Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery Support clients with light domestic tasks to promote independence within their living environment Follow health and safety protocols diligently to ensure a safe environment for both clients and staff Utilise IT systems for documentation and reporting purposes as required

Experience

Previous experience providing home care is desirable but not essential; full training will be provided Proficiency in English, with excellent communication skills to build rapport with clients and team members Valid driving licence is advantageous for roles involving client transportation Familiarity with IT systems used for record keeping and reporting is beneficial Strong interpersonal skills, patience, and empathy are essential qualities for success in this role
Job Types: Permanent, Zero hours contract

Pay: 12.21-13.21 per hour
