Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals in care homes or through home care services. Your primary focus will be on assisting residents with daily living activities while ensuring their comfort and well-being. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and a genuine passion for helping others.

Responsibilities

Assist resident's with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming. Support residents in following their care plans and maintaining their health and safety. Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care. Maintain accurate records of resident progress and any changes in condition using IT systems. Participate in training sessions to enhance your skills and knowledge in care practices.

Experience

Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is desirable but not essential. A good understanding of care plans and the ability to follow them accurately. Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written. A willingness to learn and adapt to the needs of individual residents is essential.
