Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Female Care Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals through home care services. Your primary responsibility will be to assist clients with their daily activities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. You will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for those you care for.

Duties

Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming. Support clients in following their care plans and maintaining their daily routines. Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care. Help with meal preparation and feeding as needed. Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment. Maintain accurate records of client progress and any changes in health status. Drive clients to appointments or social activities when required. Ensure a clean and safe living environment by performing light housekeeping duties as necessary.

Skills

Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with clients and team members. Experience or knowledge of care plans is advantageous for understanding individual client needs. Familiarity with IT systems for maintaining records and documentation is beneficial. A valid driving licence is preferred for transporting clients as needed. Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is desirable but not essential; training will be provided. A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others is crucial for success in this role.
