This job is ideal for someone who wants extra money or another job. A small contribution will be made to your travel costs. However, do consider where you're travelling from before you apply.

Please consider childcare arrangements if you have young children. This job is most suited for those who have older children.

What I'm looking for?

I'm looking for someone who can take me out once or twice a week for an activity of my choice, this might include medical appointments, etc and can drive an adapted vehicle. You will be shown how to safely secure me in the car and have some test runs to see how you feel driving it.

I'm 32 years old and have Quadriplegic Cerebral Palsy. I can communicate and like a good laugh!

There may also maybe additional care hours from time to time, when covering my other care staff for sickness or holidays.

These hours can be discussed during the interview.

Requirements

:

Able to drive a manual vehicle (required)

Sensible driver

Based in Redditch or local to the area

Experience in care (preferred)

Full and clean Driving Licence (required)

Experience using a hoist or a Molift (preferred)

At least two references

Reliable

Committed

Undergo a DBS check (Free of charge)

Proof of authorisation to work in the UK All COVID vaccinations (preferred) PPE (Supplied and willing to wear) Lateral Flow Tests (preferred) OK with dogs Willing/able to work during Christmas and bank holidays.

Rates of Pay:

Monday - Friday - 12.50ph

Saturdays - 13.10ph

Sundays - 17.20ph

Bank Holidays - 17.20ph

You also get paid a percentage of holiday pay.

Wages, taxes, and insurance are provided by Penderels Trust. You will be paid every four weeks either by bank transfer or cheque if you'd prefer.

Interviews:

If offered an interview, this will be through Microsoft Teams, Zoom or WhatsApp, and if successful, you'll then be offered to come and meet me.
