Care Assistant

NVQ Level 2

in Health & Social Care to join our team. If you have substantial experience in a

About the Role:

As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality, person-centred care to our residents. You will work closely with the

Deputy Manager

and the wider

healthcare

team to ensure the well-being and dignity of everyone in our

nursing home

. This role is perfect for a reliable

Care Assistant

who can use their initiative and work without constant supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide compassionate personal care and support to our

elderly

residents. Assist with daily living activities, promoting independence and dignity at all times. Support residents with

medication rounds

(as per training and policy). Work effectively without direct supervision during day shifts, demonstrating initiative and reliability. Collaborate closely with the

Deputy Manager

, nurses (

RGN/RMN

), and other

healthcare

professionals. Monitor and report on residents' well-being, contributing to care plans. Help to maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment within the

care home

.

What We Are Looking For (Essential Requirements):

A minimum of

3 years' experience

as a

Care Assistant

.

NVQ Level 2

in Health & Social Care (or equivalent). Proven experience working in a

nursing home

or

care home

environment. Experience and understanding of supporting

medication rounds

. The ability to work confidently without supervision and as part of a team. A genuine passion for providing outstanding

elderly care

.

Desirable Skills:

Experience working hand-in-hand with a

Deputy Manager

or senior team. Formal medication training.
