Job description

We are seeking a dedicated Care Assistant on nights to join our team in providing compassionate care to individuals in a care home setting. The role involves assisting residents with daily activities and ensuring their well-being. The hours are 2000-08000on a rolling rota that involves weekends and bank holidays

33/44 hours per week inc weekends and bank holidays We are willing to train the right person for this role Due to the location of this home and very limited public transport, this role would only be suitable for someone with their own transport

Duties

- Support residents with personal care tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and toileting
- Assist in the implementation of care plans
- Communicate effectively with residents, their families, and the care team
- Provide companionship and emotional support to residents and their families.
- Help residents with mobility and transportation needs, including driving when required

Skills

- Experience or willingness to work in a care home environment
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Proficiency in IT for record keeping and communication purposes
- Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others
- Understanding of home care practices and procedures
