You must be able to
Follow instructions as requested by the Home Manager/Nurse in Charge/CTL.
Ensure that the premises are always kept secure.
Ensure that any information collected during the performing of duties is kept confidential.
Keep all residents' records secure so that confidentiality is always maintained.
Ensure economical use of the home's resources and minimising of any wastage by all staff.
Attend handover meetings with the Nurse-in-Charge.
Participate in the induction of new staff.
Attend and participate in staff meetings.
Attend supervision with your supervisor.
Provide a supportive service to relatives liaising with them on an ongoing basis.
Ensure that good communication is maintained with residents and relatives.
Encourage relatives to maintain regular contact and offer assistance as necessary.
Participate in the reception of new residents.
Provide a high standard of order in the Home and an atmosphere suitable for the physical, mental and spiritual needs of residents.
Ensure that all aspects of care for the residents is carried out in line with the Company's procedures and the individual care plans.
