Full or Part time Care Assistant.

Applicants

MUST HAVE NVQ 2

in Health & social care or working towards/willing to achieve this and experience of working in a care home before.

The successful applicant must be prepared to work shifts and weekends on a rota basis with 1 full weekend off a month. shifts are 8am till 3pm and 3pm till 10pm.

Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide support to individuals in a care home or home care setting, assisting them with daily activities and ensuring their comfort and well-being. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of care plans, and the ability to work effectively with both clients and colleagues.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming. Support individuals in maintaining their independence by helping with daily living activities. Implement and follow care plans tailored to each client's needs. Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality care. Maintain accurate records of client progress and any changes in their condition. Participate in training sessions to enhance skills in IT and care practices. Drive clients to appointments or social activities as required, ensuring their safety during travel.

Experience

A strong command of English is required for effective communication with clients and team members. Familiarity with IT systems for record-keeping and communication is beneficial. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with clients are essential for success in this role.
