Care Assistant

Hours:

34.5 hours per week

Shift Pattern:

Between 7:00am and 7:00pm

Hourly Rate:

12.75 or 13.25 if you are medication trained

Key Responsibilities:

Assisting residents with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and general hygiene, always with dignity and respect. Providing compassionate, person-centred care to individuals with a range of needs, including Alzheimer's, dementia, epilepsy, and sensory impairments. Maintaining accurate and confidential records to ensure the highest standards of care. Encouraging residents to engage in meaningful activities -- from reading and writing to hobbies and friendly chats -- to support their mental and emotional wellbeing. Building strong, positive relationships with residents, their families, your colleagues, and visitors, contributing to a warm and welcoming environment.
