Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant driver with their own car to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to individuals in their homes, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. This role is crucial in assisting clients with daily activities while promoting their independence and dignity.

Duties

Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming. Support clients with mobility and transfers, ensuring their safety at all times. Help with meal preparation and feeding as required, following care plans. Maintain accurate records of client care and communicate any changes to the care team. Drive clients to appointments or social activities as needed. Engage clients in meaningful conversation and activities to enhance their quality of life. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to implement effective care plans tailored to individual needs. Ensure a clean and safe environment for clients by adhering to health and safety regulations.

Requirements

Previous experience in care setting is preferred but not essential. Communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with clients and team members. Ability to drive is advantageous for transporting clients when necessary. Familiarity with IT systems for maintaining client records is a plus. A caring attitude with a genuine desire to help others is essential. Flexibility to work various shifts as required by client needs.
