Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional support to individuals in care homes or through home care services. This role requires a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for our clients, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.

Duties

Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and meal preparation. Support clients in following their care plans to meet individual needs and preferences. Maintain clear and accurate records of client progress and any changes in condition. Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care. Drive clients to appointments or social activities as required, ensuring their safety during transport. Engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental and emotional well-being. Adhere to health and safety regulations while maintaining a clean and safe environment for clients.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is preferred but not essential. Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Basic IT skills for documentation and communication purposes. A valid driving licence is an advantage for transporting clients. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From 12.60 per hour
