Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated care assistant to join our multiple award-winning team. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals in care homes or through home care services, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a genuine desire to help others, making a positive impact on the lives of those in your care.

Duties

Assist residents with daily living activities including personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility. Support the implementation of care plans tailored to individual needs. Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in residents' conditions. Engage with residents through conversation and activities to promote mental and emotional well-being. Ensure a clean and safe environment by adhering to health and safety regulations. Drive to clients' homes as required for home care services, ensuring timely arrival and departure. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care.

Requirements

Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is desirable but not essential. Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Basic IT skills for documentation and record-keeping purposes. A valid driving licence is preferred for roles involving travel between locations. Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being capable of working independently. A compassionate nature with a commitment to providing excellent care to all individuals.
