Job Role




As a Carer in our luxury care home, you will deliver the highest standard of person-centred care and support to residents, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and wellbeing at all times. You will provide compassionate assistance with daily living activities while upholding the values of respect, empathy, and excellence that define our home.

Key Responsibilities



Provide personal care and support to residents, including assistance with washing, dressing, mobility, and toileting. Support residents with mealtimes, hydration, and nutrition, ensuring dignity and choice are maintained. Deliver care in line with individual care plans, promoting independence and wellbeing. Observe and report any changes in residents' health, mood, or behaviour to senior staff. Maintain accurate, confidential records of care provided. Offer companionship and emotional support to residents. Support residents to participate in social, leisure, and wellbeing activities. Build positive relationships with residents, families, and visitors. Work collaboratively with nurses, senior carers, and the wider team. Adhere to infection control, health and safety, and safeguarding procedures at all times. Maintain residents' privacy, dignity, and confidentiality in all interactions.

Skills and Experience required



Kind, patient, and empathetic nature with genuine passion for elderly care. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure. High attention to detail and commitment to quality standards. Team player who contributes to a positive home environment. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays. Previous experience in a care or hospitality setting preferred (luxury or private care experience desirable). NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care (or willingness to work towards). Understanding of person-centred care principles. Knowledge of CQC standards and best practices. Basic IT and record-keeping skills.
