We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to provide high-quality support to individuals in care homes and home care settings. The successful candidate will play a vital role in assisting residents with daily activities, ensuring their comfort and wellbeing. Duties

Assist residents with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming Support individuals with mobility and daily activities, promoting independence where possible Follow care plans accurately to meet each resident's specific needs Maintain accurate records of care provided and any changes in residents' conditions Communicate effectively with residents, family members, and team members to ensure coordinated care Support with meal preparation and feeding as required Help organise activities that promote social interaction and mental wellbeing Ensure the safety and comfort of residents at all times by adhering to health and safety protocols

Experience

Previous experience working within a care home or providing home care is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate Basic IT skills for maintaining records and updating care plans Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written Driving licence is preferred to facilitate transportation needs but is not mandatory Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently when required Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to support vulnerable individuals

Pay: 12.82 per hour
