Summary

We are seeking a Home Care assistant to join our team at G & P Healthcare

This role involves providing the best care possible to clients in their homes with varying needs such as brain injury, spinal injury, autism and learning disabilities.

Clients can only accept females care assistants due to vulnerabilities

Hours

Most are generally 12 hour shifts and ability to be able to work days, nights and sleeping nights is essential.

Clients are based in Newcastle, Bedlington and Ashington

Responsibilities

Assist clients to live their best lives in their own homes Administer medication as prescribed and monitor client health conditions. Follow individualised care plans tailored to each client's needs. Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals. Maintain accurate records of client progress and any changes in condition. Drive to client locations as needed to provide care services.

Requirements

Experience in home care or a related field is required Strong communication skills in English to interact with clients and families effectively. Have a caring nature Have a degree of flexibiity

A valid driver's license and

car driver is essential
