Summary

We are seeking a full time

female care assistant

to join our team at G & P Healthcare. This role is vital in supporting our wonderful client with Autism to live the best life she can in her own home

Hours available are 36 hours per week night shift as follows:

Week 1: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday night 20:00-0800

Week 2: Friday, Saturday and Sunday night 20.00-0800

An extra night (Monday night) on week 1 is available for anyone wanting more hours but this would mean working 7 shifts on and then 7 shifts off.

AREA OF WORK

Clients own home in Bedlington area

Responsibilities

Assist the client with personal care tasks including bathing, dressing, and grooming. Communicate effectively with the client to understand her needs and preferences. Work with our care plans and risk assessments to keep the client safe Maintain accurate records of client care and progress. Provide emotional support with patience and understanding Ensure a safe and clean environment for clients. Medication administration and other health tasks that you will be trained to do.

Requirements

Experience in home care or a similar role is essential. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with the client and her family Compassionate nature with a commitment to providing high-quality care.
