We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. Your responsibilities will include assisting with daily living activities and implementing care plans tailored to each individual's needs. Responsibilities

Assist residents or clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming. Support individuals with mobility and movement, ensuring their safety at all times. Help with meal preparation and feeding as required, promoting nutritional health. Maintain accurate records of care provided and assist in the development of care plans. Engage residents or clients in social activities to enhance their quality of life. Communicate effectively with team members, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care. Drive clients to appointments or social outings when necessary, ensuring safe transportation. Uphold the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness in accordance with health regulations.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is preferred but not essential. A valid driving licence is advantageous for transporting clients as needed. Proficiency in English is required for effective communication with clients and team members. Basic IT skills are necessary for maintaining records and using care management software. Excellent communication skills to build rapport with clients and their families. A caring attitude with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life. Pay: 12.21-12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 36 per week
