Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team, providing essential support to individuals in their homes. Duties

Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming in accordance with care plans Support clients with mobility and transfers, ensuring safety at all times Help with meal preparation and feeding when necessary Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment Maintain accurate records of care provided, adhering to organisational policies Assist with light household chores to ensure a clean and safe living environment Support clients in attending appointments or outings, utilising driving skills if applicable Follow health and safety guidelines diligently to ensure the wellbeing of clients and staff

Qualifications

Previous experience working in a care home or providing home care is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided Valid driving licence is desirable for supporting clients outside the care setting Good organisational skills with the ability to follow detailed care plans accurately Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written Basic IT skills for maintaining accurate records and documentation Compassionate nature with excellent interpersonal skills Ability to work independently as well as part of a team Flexibility to work various shifts as required

Pay: 12.60-13.50 per hour
