Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated care assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support in individuals in care homes or through home care services, ensuring their comfort and well-being. You will be responsible for assisting with daily activities, implementing care plans, and fostering a supportive environment that promotes independence and dignity.

Responsibilities

Assist residents with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing and grooming. support individuals in daily living activities such as meal preparation, medication management, and mobility assistance Communicate effectively with residents to understand their needs and preferences. Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in resident's conditions to the appropriate personnel. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to implement and follow care plans tailored to each individual's requirements. Ensure clean and safe environment by adhering to health and safety regulations.

Skills

Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is desirable. Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with residents and team members. Basic IT skills for documentation and record-keeping purposes. Ability to follow care plans accurately while demonstrating empathy and patience. A genuine passion for providing high-quality care and support to individuals in need.
