Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team at Sunflower Homecare. In this role, you will provide essential support to clients in their homes, assisting with daily activities and personal care while fostering a positive and empowering environment.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming. Support clients with light housekeeping duties and meal preparation as needed. Help clients with errands, shopping, and transportation to appointments. Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients and their families. Follow individualized care plans to ensure each client's needs are met effectively. Communicate regularly with the care team regarding client progress and any changes in condition.

Requirements

Previous experience in home care or a similar role is preferred. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members. Basic IT skills for documentation and communication purposes. A valid driver's license is an advantage but not mandatory. Compassionate nature with a passion for helping others.
