Job Summary:
We are seeking some compassionate and dedicated Care Assistants to join our team at Sherrington house , We are a 48 bed care home on the outskirts of Ipswich. We strive to enable our residents to live as they choose.

As a Care Assistant in our team, you will provide essential support to individuals. Your role will involve assisting with daily activities, personal care, and ensuring the overall well-being of our residents.

Duties:
- Assist residents with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Help with mobility and transfers, including the use of mobility aids
- Support residents in maintaining a clean and safe living environment
- Assist with meals and adhering to dietary requirements
- Provide companionship and engage in meaningful activities with residents.
- Document resident observations and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate supervisor
- Follow care plans and ensure that individualized needs are met

Experience:
- Previous experience in health and social is desired but not essential
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
- Basic IT skills for documentation purposes

Shift Patterns : 7am-2pm , 2pm-9pm (you are expected to work a mixture) , including every other weekend.
