We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to provide high-quality support to individuals in care homes and home care settings. The successful candidate will play a vital role in assisting clients with daily activities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. Responsibilities

Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming Support clients with mobility and transferring, ensuring safety at all times Help with meal preparation and feeding as required Maintain accurate care plans tailored to individual needs Provide companionship and emotional support to clients Assist with medication reminders and basic health monitoring under supervision Document care activities clearly and accurately using IT systems Communicate effectively with clients, family members, and team members to ensure holistic care delivery Support clients in participating in social activities and outings, including driving when necessary

Skills

Driving licence is desirable for supporting home care visits and outings Experience working within a care home or home care environment is advantageous Knowledge of creating and following personalised care plans Good command of English, both spoken and written, for clear communication Proficient IT skills for maintaining accurate records and documentation Excellent communication skills to build rapport with clients and team members Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to support vulnerable individuals Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Pay: 13.70-18.62 per hour
