Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals in comfort of there own home ensuring their comfort and well-being. You will be responsible for assisting with daily living activities, adhering care plans, and fostering a supportive environment that promotes independence and dignity.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming. Support clients in maintaining their daily routines and activities as outlined in their care plans. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and preferences. Drive clients to appointments or social activities as required. Maintain accurate records of client progress and any changes in their condition. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care delivery. Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the quality of life for clients. Ensure a clean and safe environment by adhering to health and safety regulations.

Experience

Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is desirable but not essential. A good understanding of care plans and the ability to implement them effectively. Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to interact with clients and team members. A valid driving licence is preferred for transporting clients when necessary.
