An opportunity has arisen for a hard-working individual to join our friendly Care Assistant team.

Orchard House is a 33-bed Residential Care Home in Barton Seagrave, providing care for clients who are elderly, many with dementia. We are passionate about providing high-quality care in a home-from-home environment.

About you:

The ideal candidate will be caring and compassionate, ideally with previous experience working in a residential care home. You must:

Be caring, empathetic and respectful Dedicated to delivering high quality care. Flexibility to adapt to the needs of our residents Excellent communication skills, written and verbal. Willing to complete NVQ Health & Social Care Level 2.

Shift Times:

These will be according to the rota and needs of the business, but the shift times are:

7am-2.15pm

and

2.00pm-9.15pm

We cannot offer just one or the other.

About the role:

As a care assistant, you will play an important role within our team, helping us deliver high standards of care to our residents. This is a varied role however, the main duties will include:

Supporting our residents with personal care and all aspects of daily life. Building professional relationships with residents, providing physical & emotional support and promoting quality of life. Delivering a warm and friendly service, in welcoming relatives and healthcare professionals to our home. Completing care records Completing training
