About the Role
We are looking for compassionate and dedicated Care Assistants to join our team in a residential dementia care home. You will provide person-centred care, supporting residents to live with dignity, comfort, and independence.
This role is ideal for someone who is caring, reliable, and committed to delivering high-quality dementia care. Previous experience is welcomed but not essential, as full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
Providing high-quality personal care, including washing, dressing, and toileting
Supporting residents with meals, hydration, and nutrition
Promoting independence, dignity, and choice at all times
Communicating effectively with residents, families, and colleagues
Supporting residents with activities and meaningful engagement
Completing care records accurately
Reporting concerns to senior staff and following safeguarding procedures
About You
Kind, patient, and empathetic, with a genuine interest in dementia care
Good spoken and written English, with the ability to communicate clearly and complete documentation
Reliable, respectful, and able to work well as part of a team
Willingness to learn and develop professionally
NVQ/QCF Level 2 in Health & Social Care is desirable (or willingness to work towards)
