We aim to promote the best care possible for them. Caring Hands operates out of its Head Office on York Road, Ilford. Where a team of staff coordinates the provision of care and support services to the residents of Ilford, Chingford, Hackney, Walthamstow, Leytonstone, Leyton, Barkingside, Hainault, Newbury Park and Romford.

We are seeking a compassionate Care Assistant to join our team in providing essential care and support to individuals in their own homes. You will play a key role in improving the quality of life for individuals by assisting with daily activities and ensuring their comfort and well-being.

Duties

Provide personal care to clients in their homes, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. Assist clients with mobility within their homes, including lifting, repositioning, and using mobility aids. Prepare meals and provide feeding assistance when necessary. Administer or assist with medication management under the guidance of healthcare professionals. Monitor clients' health conditions and report any changes or concerns to supervisors or healthcare professionals. Offer emotional support and companionship, helping clients maintain a sense of independence in their own homes. Assist with light housekeeping duties, ensuring clients' homes are clean, safe, and comfortable. Follow personalized care plans to meet clients' specific needs and preferences. Provide respite care for family members or primary caregivers when needed.

Experience

Previous experience in home care or a care home setting is desirable Proficiency in English language Strong communication skills and empathy Understanding of care plans and procedures
Pay: 11.44-12.45 per hour
