We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care to indiviuals in a home care setting, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. This role requires effective communication skills, a strong understanding of care plans, and the ability to work collaboratively with other staff members. A valid driving licence is preferred for this position, as it may involve transporting residents for appointments or activities.
Duties
Assist residents with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and meal preparation.
Support residents in following their individual care plans and monitor their progress.
Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in residents' conditions to senior staff.
Ensure the cleanliness and safety of the care environment by adhering to health and safety regulations.
Engage in regular training sessions to stay updated on best practices in care home and IT systems used for record keeping.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a home care setting is advantageous but not essential.
Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
Basic IT skills for documentation and reporting purposes.
A valid driving licence is preferred to assist with transportation needs.
A genuine passion for providing high-quality care and supporting individuals in need.
