Job Summary

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Care Assistants to join our team on a zero hour contract. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care to individuals in a care home, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and well-being. This role requires effective communication skills and the ability to follow care plans while assisting clients with daily activities.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming. Support clients with mobility and transfers, ensuring their safety at all times. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and preferences. Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in client condition to the appropriate personnel. Follow care plans tailored to each client's needs. Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the quality of life for clients. Ensure a clean and safe environment for clients by adhering to health and safety standards.

Requirements

Previous experience in home care or a care home setting is preferred but not essential. Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Ability to drive is advantageous for transporting clients. Familiarity with IT systems for documentation purposes is beneficial. A genuine passion for providing compassionate care and support to individuals in need. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating reliability and professionalism.
The shift pattern is 7.30am - 2.30pm and 2.30pm to 9.30pm and nights 9.30pm to 730am

Pay: 12.21 per hour
