Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals in care homes or through home care services, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. Your ability to communicate effectively and follow care plans will be crucial in delivering high-quality assistance to our clients.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and meal preparation. Support clients in following their individual care plans and ensure their needs are met. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by adhering to health and safety protocols. Communicate regularly with clients to provide emotional support and companionship. Document any changes in clients' conditions and report them to the appropriate healthcare professionals. Collaborate with other team members to deliver comprehensive care.

Skills

Experience in a care home or home care setting is preferred but not essential. Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with clients and colleagues. Ability to understand and implement care plans tailored to individual client needs. Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for helping others are essential qualities for this role.
