Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to individuals in our care home setting. This position requires excellent communication skills, the ability to follow care plans, and a commitment to enhancing the quality of life for our clients.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and meal preparation. Follow individual care plans to ensure that each client's needs are met effectively. Communicate regularly with clients and their families to provide updates on progress and any concerns. Support clients in maintaining their independence while ensuring their safety and well-being. Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in client condition to the appropriate personnel. Utilise IT systems for documentation and communication purposes as needed.

Experience

Previous experience in a care role is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate. A good understanding of care plans and the ability to communicate effectively in English is required. Familiarity in a care home environment will be an advantage.

Pay: 12.80-13.05 per hour
