Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. Duties

Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and meal preparation. Support clients in following their individual care plans to ensure their specific needs are met. Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to provide updates on client progress and any concerns. Maintain a safe and clean environment for clients by adhering to health and safety protocols. Drive clients to appointments or social activities as required, ensuring their comfort and safety during transport. Utilise IT systems for documentation and reporting purposes, ensuring accurate records of client care are maintained. Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge related to caregiving.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a care role is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided. Strong communication skills in English are required for effective interaction with clients and team members. Ability to follow care plans meticulously while being attentive to the individual needs of clients. A valid driving licence is preferred for transporting clients when necessary. Basic IT skills are desirable for maintaining records and using care management software. A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others is essential for success in this role.

Pay: 12.80-13.80 per hour
