Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals in through home care services, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and well-being. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a genuine passion for helping others, along with the ability to follow care plans and assist with daily activities.

Responsibilities

Assist residents or clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming. Support individuals in maintaining their independence by encouraging participation in daily activities. Follow care plans meticulously to ensure personalised support is delivered effectively. Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to provide updates on care needs. Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in health or behaviour. Drive to clients' homes as required for home care services, ensuring safe transportation. Utilise IT systems for documentation and communication purposes.

Requirements

Previous experience in home care setting is preferred but not essential. A valid driving licence is desirable for roles involving travel to clients' homes. Strong English language skills for effective communication with clients and team members. Proficient IT skills for maintaining records and using relevant software applications. Excellent communication skills to build rapport with clients and their families. A caring attitude and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
