We're Firs Hall Care Home, a Residential Care Home in Failsworth and we provide a care and support for elderly residents and those living with dementia.

We're seeking to recruit some great new members of our team and are currently looking for 2 x Day Care Assistants and 1 x night Care Assistant ; someone with the right values and attitude to work in our care home - could this be you?

The duties are varied, and no two days will be the same. Our residents are individuals, and they all deserve to be treated as such. Duties may include supporting with personal care needs, as well as helping them to take part in a wide range of special interests and activities that support their health and wellbeing such as arts and crafts, watching the football, drama, musical evenings, gardening, shopping trips and social occasions. Ensuring the home is a clean, welcoming and safe environment to live in, that every meal is wholesome, appetising and nutritious and that every resident has choice as to what they eat, wear and do, promoting their independence, dignity and self-worth.

The hours are 8am -8pm for the day care positions, 36 hours per week for one position and 24 hours per week for the other and 8pm - 8am for the night carer position, working 24 hours per week. There is also the opportunity to claim extra hours.
