Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care to individuals in a home care or care home setting, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and well-being. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting clients with daily activities and promoting their independence while adhering to care plans.

Duties

Assist the Residents with personal care , including bathing, dressing, and grooming.Support Residents with mobility and physical activities to enhance their quality of life.Prepare and serve meals according to dietary requirements and preferences.Maintain accurate records of the Residents care and report any changes in health or behaviour to the senior or manager.

Communicate effectively with the Residents, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.Follow established care plans and contribute to the development of individualized care strategies.Engage Residents in social activities and companionship to promote mental well-being.Maintain a clean and safe environment by adhering to health and safety regulations.

Experience

Previous experience in Care Home or a similar role is desirable but not essential; training will be provided.

A good communication of English is required for effective communication with Residents and team members.

Familiarity with IT systems for record-keeping and communication is advantageous.

An understanding of care plans and the ability to implement them effectively is beneficial.

Weekly pay, shift patterns - 8/2, 2/8 or 8/8 including availability to work weekends
