Job Description

Duties

To build a relationship with residents

To identify residents' special needs

To establish work routines that help residents with their daily activities

To support residents in their activities of daily living

To assist residents with their hobbies and recreational interests

To provide physical, emotional and social support and be sensitive to their changing needs eg medical, therapeutic, psychological and spiritual

To liaise with family and health care providers

To note and report any unusual incidents to the nurse in charge

To chaperone residents when required

To observe and practise the principles of health and safety within the working environment

To learn and understand the principles and practise of fire procedures (eg drills/evacuation)

To record daily notes on the PCS System and ensure they are updated before taking breaks

To maintain confidentiality

To attend training and development activities relevant to your role

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 12.24-12.52 per hour
