Job Description

Willan House is looking for Care assistants for a small but busy care home in Stainfield, between Wragby and Bardney. Caring for 17 residents you will work alongside an established team of carers to support and care for those with dementia, frailty and a variety of health needs. The successful candidates will enjoy being with and working for elderly people and will have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Respecting others and treating people with dignity and kindness will be essential. Experience in a care setting and with people living with dementia is desirable. Ability to work a flexible rota is essential, and will include some weekend working. Paid meal breaks. Enhanced overtime payments made Duties include providing personal care, responding to individual resident's needs helping with mealtimes. Accurate recording of care and reporting as well as team work are required. Shifts are 8-6pm, 4-10pm and will include weekends. Shorter shifts are available on a part time basis , 6-10pm.

Rated Good by CQC in all domains, Willan House cares for people up to and including the end of their life, and holds the nationally recognised Gold Standard Framework for Care homes. Recruitment will entail completing a hand written application form, interview with satisfactory references and an enhanced DBS required.

The successful applicants will need access to their own transport as we are not on a bus route.
