Pay Rates:

13.00 - 13.50 per hour

Must be able to work every other weekend.

We're recruiting on behalf of our client, a trusted home care provider delivering compassionate, person-centred care across Monmouth, Abergavenny, Usk, and Pontypool.

Your Role as a Care Assistant

As a Care Assistant, you'll support people to live independently and comfortably in their own homes -- where they feel happiest.

Every visit is unique, but what stays the same is the difference you make each day.

You'll build trusted relationships while helping with:

Personal care, washing, dressing, and toileting Supporting mobility, including transfers or walking aids Preparing meals and snacks to suit individual needs Helping with shopping, errands, or collecting prescriptions Keeping the home tidy, clean, and safe Providing companionship and emotional reassurance Supporting hobbies, activities, and community outings Communicating with the office team to ensure high-quality care

What You'll Need

You don't need previous experience -- you'll receive full training and support -- but you do need a caring heart and a can-do attitude.

Essential:

A full UK driving licence and access to your own car The right to work in the UK Good communication skills and written English A commitment to providing high-quality, person-centred care Willingness to complete an enhanced DBS check
