Summary

We are seeking a compassionate Care Assistant to join our team at Marwood Residential Home. This role is vital in delivering high-quality care and support to our residents, ensuring their comfort and well-being while embodying our values of respect and compassion.

Shift times will be either, 4:00pm - 7:00pm 0r 5:00pm - 8:00pm.

Responsibilities

Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal care and mobility Develop and implement individual care plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals Foster a warm and supportive environment that encourages resident engagement Monitor residents' health and report any changes to the senior staff Maintain accurate records of care provided and any incidents Support residents with social activities to enhance their quality of life Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times Support with meal preparation and service

Qualifications

Previous experience in a care home or similar setting is essential Knowledge of care plans and care home practices Strong communication skills, both verbal and written Ability to work effectively as part of a team Proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus IT skills are beneficial
