Your Role as a Care Assistant
As a Care Assistant, you'll help clients live safely, independently, and with dignity. Every visit is an opportunity for you to make a meaningful impact.
Your responsibilities will include:
Supporting personal care such as washing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
Assisting with meal preparation, hydration, and nutritional needs
Providing medication reminders and monitoring health needs
Supporting mobility, including walking aids, transfers, or hoists
Offering companionship, emotional support, and reassurance
Helping with household tasks such as light cleaning, laundry, and tidying to maintain a safe environment
Accurately recording care activities, noting changes, and reporting concerns
Encouraging clients to engage in hobbies, appointments, or community activities to maintain independence

What You'll Need
You don't need previous care experience -- full training and support are provided -- but you do need:
A kind, patient, and compassionate nature
Good communication and interpersonal skills
The ability to work independently and follow care instructions
A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
