We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will provide high-quality support to residents in our fabulous new care home, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people's lives by delivering personalised care tailored to each individual's needs. The Care Assistant will work closely with care plans and communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

Assist residents with daily activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility Support residents in maintaining their independence and dignity Follow individualised care plans to deliver tailored support Provide companionship and emotional support to residents Assist with medication management as directed by healthcare professionals Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any concerns or changes in condition Ensure a safe and clean environment for residents at all times Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members to ensure seamless care delivery

Qualifications

Previous experience in a care home setting is desirable but not essential; training will be provided. Good organisational skills to follow care plans accurately Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal Basic IT skills for record keeping and documentation purposes Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to support others Ability to work independently and as part of a team Flexibility to work various shifts as required

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Zero hours contract

Pay: 13.50 per hour

Expected hours: 11 - 44 per week
