Summary

Care Assistant - Day shift or Night shift

Our home is part of the local community in Broxburn, and is a friendly, caring and fun environment to work in . We are now looking for a care assistant to work 3/4 shifts per week to provide care and support to our residents

Summary

As a Care Assistant, you will be essential in providing compassionate care and support to the residents in our care home. Reporting to the nurse/senior in charge your core responsibilities will include ensuring the safety and well-being of our residents.

Strong communication skills and a positive attitude are key to being an effective member of our team.

Responsibilities

Assist residents with daily activities, ensuring their comfort and safety during the night. Monitor and document residents' health and well-being, reporting any changes to the care team. Implement care plans tailored to individual needs, providing personal care and support. Maintain a clean and safe environment within the care home. Communicate effectively with residents and staff, fostering a supportive atmosphere. Able to deliver all aspects of personal care. Ability to communicate with colleagues and senior staff in order to support your residents
Vocational training courses will be provided and opportunities to undertake a recognised qualification will be available for committed staff members

You will need to undergo a PVG membership (Disclosure Scotland) check, and register with SSSC
