Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high quality care to residents within of our care homes. You will be responsible for assisting with daily living activities, ensuring the comfort and well being of those in your care while adhering to individual care plans.

Duties

Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming. Support individuals in following their personalised care plans. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care. Monitor and report any changes in residents' conditions to the relevant healthcare staff. Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents. Utilise IT systems for documentation and communication purposes.
Skills

Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Ability to understand and implement care plans effectively. Experience or familiarity with working in a care home is advantageous. Basic IT skills for managing patient records and communication. Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to help others are essential traits for success in this role.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 33 - 44 per week
