Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care to individuals in a care home or home care setting, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. This role requires a strong commitment to supporting clients with daily activities and personal care while fostering a positive and respectful environment.
Duties
Assist clients with personal care tasks. Communicate effectively with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals to provide updates on client progress and any concerns. Maintain accurate records of client care and report any changes in health or behaviour to the supervising nurse or manager. Participate in training sessions and team meetings to enhance skills and knowledge in the field of care.
Skills
Proficient in English with excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients and colleagues. Experience in a care home or home care setting is preferred. Ability to understand and implement care plans tailored to individual needs. Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and their families while providing empathetic support.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: 12.60-13.60 per hour
