Responsibilities

Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming. Support clients in daily living activities such as meal preparation, medication management, and mobility assistance. Develop and maintain care plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals to ensure personalised support. Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment. Maintain accurate records of client progress and report any changes in condition to the appropriate personnel. Drive clients to appointments or social activities as needed, ensuring their safety during transport. Utilise IT systems for documentation and communication purposes effectively.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is preferred but not essential. Strong understanding of care plans and the ability to implement them effectively. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Basic IT skills for record keeping and communication purposes. A valid driving licence is advantageous for transporting clients.
