Care Assistant (Night Shifts)

At Hollymount Care Home, we're more than a team, we're a family. And right now, we're looking for a caring, dedicated Night Care Assistant to join us in supporting our wonderful residents overnight.

Whether you have experience in care or are ready to begin a meaningful new journey, if you've got the compassion to care, we'd love to welcome you.

What a Night Looks Like:

Your shift begins at 8pm with a handover from the day team. They'll update you on how everyone has been and let you know what's planned for the night. After that, you'll be helping residents settle in for the evening. Whether that's getting ready for bed, enjoying a late-night snack, or simply relaxing with a warm drink and some TV.

No two nights are ever the same, but your role might include:

Providing personal care and emotional support during the night Assisting residents to bed or helping them get comfortable Responding to any needs during the night, from mobility support to a listening ear Preparing light snacks or drinks Checking on residents' wellbeing throughout the night Keeping communal areas clean, safe, and welcoming Supporting early risers in getting ready for the day ahead

No Experience? No Problem.

If you've never worked in care before, don't worry. We'll provide full training and ongoing support to help you feel confident in your role. What matters most is your natural kindness and your commitment to making a difference.
