ABOUT THE SERVICE

Blairgowrie is a charming historic market town on the River Ericht in Perthshire. It has a good range of shops cafes and bars as a part of the booming town economy. Our Service is based at the edge of the town near the towns, cottage hospital.

We are a unique service in that we provide both Residential Care (in our Care Home) and extend this high-quality service out into the community via our Domiciliary Care Service.

We offer fantastic training and development opportunities, each of our care workers goes through an initial comprehensive training package, including manual handling, infection control, medication administration and safeguarding.

After gaining experience there is then an option to do further training towards an SVQ award.

Both of our Services are graded very highly by the Care Inspectorate.

ABOUT THE ROLE

This job is primarily to work in our Care Home as a Night Care Assistant.

You will work as part of a great team and be making a difference to our residents by providing excellent care standards, taking pride in treating our residents as individuals.

As a Care Assistant, you'll help residents enjoy each day by making sure they get the quality care and support they deserve. Responsible for supporting our elderly residents with daily living, providing support and companionship, assisting with their physical and personal needs - where every day is different and rewarding! You will also be expected to carry out a range of cleaning and laundry tasks during the night shift.
